Month 1 · weeks 1–4
The first month of pregnancy begins before you are actually pregnant.
OpenMonth 2 · weeks 5–8
Month 2 is when pregnancy symptoms usually arrive in earnest.
OpenMonth 3 · weeks 9–13
Month 3 closes the first trimester.
OpenMonth 4 · weeks 14–17
Month 4 opens the second trimester, often the most comfortable stretch of pregnancy.
OpenMonth 5 · weeks 18–22
Month 5 includes the halfway point of pregnancy (20 weeks) and one of the most important scans.
OpenMonth 6 · weeks 23–27
Month 6 completes the second trimester.
OpenMonth 7 · weeks 28–31
Month 7 begins the third trimester – the home stretch.
OpenMonth 8 · weeks 32–35
In month 8 your baby is mostly putting on weight and fine-tuning the lungs and brain.
OpenMonth 9 · weeks 36–40
Month 9 is when your baby reaches term.
